What makes a zombie movie good?

What kind of zombies?

What form of weaponry?

What people? Should they be in a relationship?

Should it be all bloodshed, or some plot line?

Then I want to compile it and then we can get everyone to make a zombie movie and make millions. Cheers.

So far, NONE of the Zombie Movie Genre are true to what a zombie is.

There are no thinking Zombies that use tools.
There are no fast Zombies
Zombies are not created by radiation, mutation, or disease, save one.

Etc.

True zombies would be boring, because they are slow, obedient to their master, and resurrected via voodoo magic instead of disease or other fun sci fi stuff.

For weapons, slug guns, high caliber rifles, big blades, miniguns, grenades

I still prefer scifi zombies though.

Voodoo Zombies are not undead.

An 'undead' Zombie is slow, decomposing (so it weakens over time), and practically unintelligent. It cannot fly, walk through walls, pick up weapons, use tools, or dance the watusi. They have not additional powers than the body it is created in. The "benefit" is it cannot feel pain and will not stop to rest... It cannot heal wounds, which will eventually limit is movement and strength.

Eventually, the 'undead' zombie will decay away.

Gotta have a good balance of plot, humor, aesthetics and goreeeee. Lots and lots of goreeeee.

What kind of zombies?

I think the concept of having different types of zombies like fast, slow, big, strong are interesting but not very realistic. Gotta stick with the shamblers. But maybe when Michael Jackson comes back from the grave.... a dancing zombie!!!

What form of weaponry?

Gotta have the classics: baseball bat, ax, chainsaw, double barrel shotty. But also: RPG, acid grenade, and super glue (i've always wanted to super glue a zombies hand
to his face so he cant bite anyone)

What people? Should they be in a relationship?

I would love to see a zombie movie with divorced couples. Cuz you know that eventually someones gonna get pissed and throw their ex into a horde of zombies.

Should it be all bloodshed, or some plot line?

Bloodshed is good and a followable plot is good too. But humor is also pretty important. Like Shaun of the Dead. afro
